Chandra Bulucon

Chandra played music on-stage as a kid but discovered her real calling was behind the scenes when, in art college, she was introduced to the ever-encompassing world of post audio.

Based in Toronto and New York, Chandra has been a sound designer, composer, and re-recording mixer for film, television, and podcasts for over 25 years. She has been working for Sandblast Productions and Showtime since 2016.

Chandra’s work can be found on VICE TV’s new series Dark Side of the 2000s, on CANADALAND’s special podcasts like the award-winning Thunder Bay and Cool Mules, in promos for shows like Yellowjackets and The Chi, and for Property Brothers shows like Celebrity IOU and Celebrity IOU Joyride. A wider breadth of her sound work has been on networks such as the Nation Geographic Channel and HGTV, in countless film festivals worldwide, and part of over 70 different multi-media exhibitions.

She was the host and producer of the audio art-based radios how Quick Stop Art Spot on Toronto’s CKLN from 1998-2003. She was an extremely active member of the art community, participating on committees, boards, films festival juries, and worked at several different art magazines. The winner of numerous artist grants and awards, Chandra has also won, with her team at Showtime and Sandblast Productions, Clio Entertainment awards for Billions and Your Honor promos, and was a Promax finalist, also for Your Honor.
